The moment is finally here, and I am beyond excited to introduce our latest collection—The Rest Collection. This has been our "full-vision" collection, the one we envisioned when we first dreamed of launching our online store about a year ago. It’s been a long time coming, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to share it with you.
Why The Rest Collection?
For as long as we can remember, we’ve struggled with the traditional, category-focused shopping experience. While those stores certainly have their charm, we’ve always wanted something a little different. We want the thrill of discovery, the chance to find the unexpected, and the ability to shop for everything—from clothing to home decor to kitchen accessories—all in one place. If you’ve read our previous blog posts about our philosophy, you’ll know this is what we’ve always envisioned!
When January rolls around, it always feels like a moment of transition. After the holidays, it can be tough to adjust to the quiet of a new year. There’s so much pressure to start fresh, set goals, and make plans for the future, and for many of us, that can feel overwhelming. So instead, I’d like to encourage you to rest. Take the time to enjoy the slower moments—savor the little comforts that have been pushed aside in the holiday rush. After the holiday décor comes down, many of us long for something fresh and new, and The Rest Collection is here to offer just that. Buy the candle, treat yourself to a cozy new throw, or splurge on some fresh toss pillows. Winter is long, so why not embrace the opulence of candlelight and create a space for cozy nights in?
Introducing a New Category: Clothing
We’re also introducing something new in this collection—clothing! Both Cyndy and I have always had a passion for fashion. Fun fact: Cyndy was actually set to attend fashion school, but she gave up that dream to follow her husband across Canada, who was in the RCMP. Fashion has been a passion of mine since I was a young girl. In fact, I was the kid who wore her “Sunday” dress to school, far more often than one might expect. I was that kid who was often “over-dressed” for many occasions—and I wouldn’t have had it any other way! Thankfully, I had the opportunity to weave that passion into my career early on. I’ve worked as a buyer and manager for several clothing boutiques in the city, and it’s been a true joy to channel my love for style into my work.
If you’ve joined us for one of our workshops, you know how we help you explore your unique style through colors, textures, and details. Your style is an expression of your personality, and it’s just as much about the way you decorate your home as it is about the way you dress. When someone walks into your home, we want them to say, “This is your space”—and we believe your wardrobe should be an extension of that same personal expression.

Just as with our home décor collections, The Rest Collection has been thoughtfully curated. Inspired by cozy, restful living—think candlelit evenings, slow moments with a glass of wine, and relaxed weekends at home—we’ve selected clothing that feels as good as it looks. The pieces are versatile, so whether you're lounging at home or running errands, you’ll feel comfortable and stylish. These items are perfect for those days when you want to rest, recharge, and embrace the simple pleasures of life.
The collection will start small, just to test the waters and see if we’re on the same page with you. We truly hope you love it as much as we do, and we can’t wait to hear your feedback as we continue to expand this category.
